Intro Message
For women rebuilding their lives, the struggle isn’t just about healing—it’s about survival. Financial instability, trauma recovery, and trying to create a stable home all come with barriers that most people don’t see.
One of those barriers? Something as small as a pair of shoes.
It’s hard enough trying to keep up with one good pair of shoes—let alone two. For moms trying to stretch every dollar, replacing worn shoes or buying extras for daycare or summer programs can feel impossible. And when your child grows fast, plays rough, or switches between households, keeping more than one decent pair just doesn’t always happen.
Many summer programs require closed-toe shoes. If a child shows up without them, they can be sent home or left out of outdoor activities. And when that happens, moms get pulled from work, lose pay, and face yet another setback in an already uphill battle.
We can’t remove every burden, but if we can lighten the load in even a small way, we’re thankful to do so.
